Prayer Needs

of Vision Impact Liberia

Prayer Requests

These are some of the prayer requests from 625 women collected by Helen at the Women’s Conference held in Monrovia; they are the cries of Liberia’s hearts.
In many ways the answers to those prayers are subject to the answers of our prayers – the filling of our needs for the work of the ministry which the Lord of the Harvest has placed upon Vision Impact Liberia.

Prayer Needs Pastor Eric
Intercessory prayer is needed as often as possible for the protection of God upon Eric’s life as he is so instrumental in winning Liberians to Christ and subject to frequent spiritual attacks.
Please pray that the many new believers scattered throughout the villages will learn to seek God to grow in their knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Prayer Needs Truck Stuck
Please pray for God to supply tough Toyota vehicles for the interior roads as we travel to villages.
Please pray about the safety of our office which experiences frequent attempted robberies.
The latest robbery was assisted by a staff member who let four men steal our new generator and air conditioner. The staff member is in jail for 6 months but will not tell the police where the robbers took the generator or who they are.

Prayer Needs Vision Impact Liberia Bible Translation
Because only 30% of Liberians can read well enough to read a Bible the best method of teaching the gospel in Liberia is through the Jesus Film in their own dialect. Thousands have come to Jesus this way resulting in 40 church plants.
Jesus Film Project

This film is a perfect introduction to Jesus through the Gospel of Luke. Jesus constantly surprises and confounds people, from His miraculous birth to His rise from the grave. Follow His life through excerpts from the Book of Luke, all the miracles, the teachings, and the passion.

Please pray for the people of Liberia that they will hear the gospel and believe in Jesus Christ. Pray for their safety from many diseases and increased violence. Pray God will direct the country elections this year.

We are continually grateful for your sacrificial financial giving and praying for the Impact that God wants. Every gift contributes to Liberians hearing the gospel and the setting up of 10 churches to be indigenous missionaries to the Muslim people. This enables Pastor Eric to coordinate the various ministry projects.
